Active Intervention

Most of the people meeting with a Licensed Insolvency Trustee are already deeply in debt, even so, we may be able to help with nothing more than active intervention.  As soon as you notice you are having a debt problem that is the best time to come and talk to us.

Improved Communication

We can help you and your creditors understand your options more clearly. Some collectors are very aggressive and don’t listen to the debtor’s concerns but they usually listen to our professionals and work with us to solve your problems.

Budgeting

Some money problems can be sorted out just by having a good budget and sticking with it. We help set priorities and develop a budgeting system that will work for you and your family. Good budgeting helps you to do more with less money. Our professionals will give you the information that you need to get back on the right track.

Small Claims Court

When you need help to understand the process of Small Claims Court you can respond properly. You don’t need a lawyer just a good basic understanding of how the process it works – we can help. Sometimes, dealing with your debts in a Small Claims Court can help you to get things caught up.

Collection Agencies

We understand that collectors and collection calls can be overwhelming, especially if you don’t know your rights. With your permission, we can contact collection agencies on your behalf to try to sort problems out. We may even be able to set up a good repayment for you with the agency.

Real Life Situation

A client was having trouble dealing with a collection agency and was not able to set up a plan that would work for her family. The collector was only concerned with collecting that one debt, for his client. We spoke with the collector and helped him to understand that his aggressive approach wasn’t working and we were able to set up a payment arrangement that both the collector and the debtor could agree to.
