Do you need a debt check up?  We provide that service at no charge – all initial consultations are free and allow you the opportunity to get good information about your debt situation.  Consumer proposals and bankruptcies are great options for people drowning under the weight of unmanageable debt, but they aren’t the only options.  Debt settlements, renegotiations and better budgeting are also help tools to help get folks back on track.

We are still working remotely using the internet and phone systems as substitutes for face to face meetings with clients.  In some circumstances we can arrange for face to face meeting with appropriate physical distancing precautions to protect you and us.

Preparing for your debt check up:

If you can have recent bank account, credit card, mortgage, loan and financing statements on hand – along with recent pay stubs that would be most helpful.  We will ask you about your family’s living expenses, credit payments as well as all your family income.  Then we will discuss your repayment options, how much your monthly costs are, how long it will take you to get out of debt, ideas and tips for saving money, which debts should be paid first and much more.  If necessary, we will refer you to a trusted professional for further assistance, whether that be a realtor, a mortgage broker or a lawyer to help you negotiate your challenges.
